Trading Channel and selling - Guild Wars Forums

Has there ever been any offical word or discussions about the possibility of people having store/bazaar type things? I can understand not having an auction house, but it's too bad there isn't some better way of selling and buying.

I've had many times wherre I've wanted to buy something in particular and have to sit there hoping that someone else is sitting there selling it. In the meantime the channel is getting spammed constantly by people trying to sell. Trying to find certain weapons and things are just a pain.

I just wodnered if they had discussed doing anything further for trade in the game and whether or not something else could work.

The best thing you can do to find a certain item you are looking for is to jump from District to District and asking in the Trade channel if anyone is selling it and what price and to whisper you.

That way, even if you leave their District, they can still whisper you and things go from there...

There is / was a program someone made called "GW Trading Post" that you can probably find a link to on these forums if you do a search for it, have not used it so can not say how it works.
